If you’re looking for the best of the best, the Foretravel Realm Presidential Series LV3 delivers. “LV3” stands for Luxury Villa 3 and this land yacht lives up to the name at a pricepoint below a comparable Newmar or Prevost.

It’s 45ft and rides on the Spartan K4 chassis, an exclusive for Foretravel. Each unit is handmade in Nacogdoches, Texas and it shows. The moment you step on the sturdy cassette steps and walk into the coach you think you’re in a mansion on wheels.
There is nothing “off the rack” about the Presidential Series. The exterior paint is smooth as glass and has a distinctive look. You can tell just by the intricate designs and detailing that these coaches are handcrafted. The gorgeous paint continues on the slideouts.
The slides are as flush as can be. They have a pneumatic bladder that keeps water and air out, which not only gives you more peace of mind, it means a much quieter ride down the road. And you won’t see your rig coming and going either, as each is custom designed and limited to a select few builds each year (taking 750 man hours each!).
The exterior is beautiful and the LV3 has all the features you’d expect on a hand-made coach. It has a 360-degree camera view, adaptive cruise control, and collision mitigation, all welcome features on a 45’ diesel pusher. The engine bay even has an automatic fire suppression system.
The outside television is a Samsung 4k with a premium sound system. The storage bays have power slideout trays and automatic lighting in the basement area, as well as a large Norcold outside refrigerator. In terms of comfort, you’ve got 3 whisper-quiet low-profile AC units on the roof as well as 2 solar panels – and there’s no propane on board. Everything is electric.

In the living room, you’ll find furniture fit for a villa. Between the L-shaped sofa and the fireplace, you could be forgiven for thinking you are in a house. It is hard to exaggerate how elegant everything is and the build quality is perfection.
As with the living room, the dining area is first class and feels like home with high-end materials and fit and finish. Similarly, the kitchen is extremely well-appointed with residential-style appliances and a massive countertop with a large farmhouse sink and dishwasher. It even comes with a Smart refrigerator next to elegant pull-out storage.
The LV3 we got to review was a bath and a half with a completely flush floor when the slides are in or out. The half bath passed the Prime Pooping Position, though it was snug.
The master bedroom has a power king bed with two separate mattresses so each person can adjust their sleep preferences. As you’d expect, the cabinetry is spacious, refined, and the master bath includes a stackable washer and dryer and a classy luxury shower.
There’s really no way to do the Foretravel Realm Presidential Series LV3 justice in print. The MSRP is around $1.46 million and yet it looks and feels like coaches that cost a million more.

2022 Entegra Coach Cornerstone 45R
The Cornerstone is the cream of the crop from Entegra in the luxury diesel pusher category. It’s 44’ 11” long and rides on the Spartan K3605 Chassis. The chrome, silver, blue, and black premium full-body paint is distinctive and bold. It extends to the slideouts so it looks amazing while parked or going down the road.

Until you go to the hand built coaches like Newmar, Prevost or Foretravel, the Cornerstone is the pinnacle of the higher production luxury diesel pushers in terms of quality and road handling.
Everything on the Cornerstone is refined and pushbutton convenient. For example, the exterior storage is pushbutton lock slam latch doors. The same is true to access the engine compartment.
The Entegra Cornerstone sits on the Spartan® K3 raised-rail chassis and that gives you massive exterior storage space. The high-end road feel and ride quality comes from the Meritor® front axle with independent front suspension, Reyco® Granning® passive-steer tag axle with EZ Steer – keeping your coach level whether you’re driving or parked.
The Cornerstone is powered by the Cummins® 15 liter X15 turbocharged 605 HP engine with 1,950 lb. ft. torque, matched with an Allison® 4,000 MH 6-speed transmission. For cooling, it has a side-mounted parallel-airflow radiator.
That said, it is truly something to experience the inside of this luxury land yacht. Everything is beautiful and pushbutton convenient on the inside, too. When you want the daytime and privacy shades up or down, or the top step cover, or the television, it’s all controlled at your fingertips.
2022 Entegra Coach Cornerstone 45R Floorplan
The cab is as high tech a command center as you’d expect. The seats are incredibly comfortable as well as headed. The Spartan Chassis cockpit offers a 360 view of the coach and everything you could possibly need is at your fingertips. And overhead the ceiling light extends the length of the living area and it gives the interior a light and bright feel, even with some dark cabinetry.
Starting in the cab and extending back you have absolutely beautiful cabinets. They are two-tone, dark in the front and then light in the living room – all with gold handles. The handles compliment both the light and the dark cabinetry.
The cabinetry also complements the polished porcelain floor, the light solid surface kitchen counter, and the living room furniture as well. And the seats in the cockpit swivel to become part of the living area and they match the luxurious look as well.
The dinette is set up to seat two and can be extended to seat four with an innovative seat and table expansion feature. Right across, the sofa is extremely comfortable and seats three adults in luxury with ottoman footrests.
The kitchen has a nice wide window and a pullout peninsula. The counter is gorgeous with a two-burner Furrion cooktop, a large farmhouse-style sink, and high end dishwasher. It even has a built-in wine cabinet. The Whirlpool refrigerator is flanked by pantries with innovative pullout features.
As you move toward the back of the coach, you’ll discover two bunk beds. The top bunk flips up to make more room for storage if you don’t need the sleeping space, though it is not a wardrobe.
The guest bathroom has an enormous shower with porcelain walls and a Teakwood shower seat. The shower is in the mid-coach bathroom and not in the master bedroom, which is an interesting feature. This means that kids or guests traveling with you can use the bathroom and shower without having to walk through the master bedroom, for a nice privacy-enhancing feature.
The master bedroom is top-notch. The kingside bed has ample storage underneath, a classy headboard, reading lights, electrical outlets, and more gold handles on the cabinetry. You get six drawers and a luxurious half bath as well. You also get a stackable Whirlpool washer and dryer. Of course, both bathrooms passed the Four P’s, for a total of 8 Ps in the Entegra Cornerstone.

2022 Newmar Ventana 4369
This Newmar Ventana gives you luxury and quality but it does not cost the $1 million plus that you might expect from a Newmar. Unlike the other brands in this blog post, the Ventana is not the top-of-the-line for Newmar. It’s more in the middle, in fact. And that’s why we chose it, plus RV Retailer does some unique things for this motorhome like a custom paint job that makes it even more desirable. The goal is to show you a Newmar luxury diesel without breaking the bank.

The full body paint is a unique design for the Ventana and it is bold and beautiful as well.
This 43’ model sits on Spartan K2 tag axle chassis (though the Freightliner® Tag Axle is standard). It is equipped with the Comfort Drive™ Steering With Adjustable Control to give it a “Caddillac” road feel along with the telescope steering column with VIP Smart Wheel. For safety, the Ventana also has Mobile Eye Tracking and a Lane Departure Warning System.
The front has the signature Newmar look with classy headlights. Like the other luxury coaches here, the Newmar has 360 camera view so it’s easier to maneuver. The exterior compartments offer comfort and convenience with slam latch doors and central locking and unlocking with the push of a button. The Ventana is equipped with a television and Bose sound system, and you can also option it with a refrigerator. You also get full-length Girard power awnings and frameless double-pane windows.
This is a Newmar, so the interior is also gorgeous. As you walk in, the front door has keyless entry. The cab has a glare-free digital control panel and the Spartan chassis. The driver and passenger seats are super form-fitting and comfortable. The steering wheel telescopes and you can adjust the gas and brake pedal reach as well. The co-captain set swivels and has a table and footrest for maximum comfort. And there’s a nice Samsung television in the cab above the windshield.
2022 Newmar Ventana 4369 Floorplan
Once inside, it’s a clear walk back to the master bedroom when the opposing slides are in. The king-size bed is also accessible.
From front to back, the floors are polished porcelain. The model we reviewed had a stylish light and bright interior with design inlays. The furniture included two individual recliner chairs across from a trifold sofa and a televator with a large TV positioned for ideal viewing. There’s even a cabinet with a clear panel so you can put a game console in there.
When it comes to the dinette, the individual chairs have comfortable cushions and the table extends or retracts. The wide counter area could easily be used for a desk, making this space highly versatile. Unlike some of the others reviewed here, this coach was optioned to be more of a couple’s coach, though other floorplans are available.
The kitchen has soft-close drawers with an easy-to-access pullout peninsula. The two-burner induction is innovative because the covers have cutting boards on the bottom side. In addition to a large number of cabinets, a massive pantry, and generous drawer space, there is also a dishwasher and a large residential-style Whirlpool refrigerator.
The Ventana has a nice guest bathroom that passes the Prime Pooping Position test, though the space is somewhat tight due to the door. That said, the coach more than makes up for this in the master bedroom.
The door to the master bedroom is simply massive. The bedroom itself is big even with the slide-in. And when the slide is out, it is extremely spacious. As you’d expect, there are a ton of drawers and wardrobe space. There’s even storage under the bed. Continuing with the large theme, the bedroom television is bigger than what many RVs have in their living rooms. And the closet in the rear is spacious enough to have a built-in safe. The shower is likewise huge with a fold-down teak seat with a hot water line to the generator area.
Keep in mind that Newmar has the flexibility of a ton of options and customizations. The coach we reviewed had a floor plan best suited to a couple. However, you can mix and match within the Ventana lineup to find the right one for you.

2022 Forest River Berkshire XLT 45CA
What if you want a high end luxury diesel pusher that can fit the whole family? Then the Forest River Berkshire XLT 45CA is an exciting coach to consider. This may be the best family-friendly luxury motorhome in the entire RV industry because it includes two full baths, a large master bedroom, a spacious living room, and a bunk over the cab.

Even though it’s family-friendly, the 2022 Forest River Berkshire XLT 45CA is also a luxury diesel pusher with an Ultra Steer tag axle that rides on a Freightliner XCR raised rail chassis.
Not only can it tow 10,000 lbs, but it also has a 10,166 lb cargo carrying capacity! And with the raised rail chassis, the basement storage is outstanding with a power slideout tray accessible from both sides.
The XLT is Forest River’s top-of-the-line. The full body paint is gorgeous, as you’d expect. That also means you get upscale features like the MobileEye collision avoidance and a four-point fully auto hydraulic leveling system.
The Berkshire XLT is 44’ 11”, so it’s got the living space you’ll want with your family aboard. Of course, you get other higher end features like a soundbar with your outside television and an Aqua-Hot water heater. By the way, the XLT is all-electric power with no propane to fuss with. The AC units are whisper quiet, too.
However, it is on the inside that the Berkshire XLT really shines as a luxury diesel pusher for families. The floorplan includes two bunk beds, an opposing sofa, and power theater seats, as well as two full bathrooms – not to mention polished porcelain floors.

The bunk over the cap holds 500lbs so it could sleep two adults whose combined weight is under the limit. The dinette and the sofa also convert into beds as well.
That said, the living room is well-thought-out. As mentioned, the reclining theater seats face the sofa and the televator TV, which is great for entertainment and socializing. Plus, at least two can comfortably sit at the dinette. And the fireplace makes the living room feel cozy, too.
Overall the interior has a high end look with rich dark brown cabinetry. Like the outside, there’s a massive amount of storage in the cabinets, soft-close drawers, and generous wardrobes.
As you’d expect, Forest River didn’t skimp on the kitchen, either. The counter is deep (maybe too deep for some), with beautiful solid surface counters with LED lights. The optional convertible sink is huge as well. In addition, there’s a Furrion convection microwave and a two-burner induction cooktop. The unit we reviewed had an LG ThinQ residential refrigerator and a stainless steel dishwasher, too.
The bunk beds have solid folding doors for privacy – and the top bunk can flip up if you prefer to use that space as a wardrobe. However, what really steals the show is the 2nd bathroom. It has a large shower with a seat. The 2nd bathroom did not quite pass the Prime Pooping Position test, though the toilet is porcelain and it was very close.
The master bedroom is regal-looking. One much-appreciated feature is that the king bed doesn’t need to be tilted up when the slides are in. Plus, there’s a ton of attractive storage in the master bedroom, and there’s a ceiling fan (and even a safe). Oddly enough, the master bathroom has a radius shower that’s not as spacious as the shower in the 2nd bathroom, but overall the two-bathroom floorplan is so good it makes up for that.
What does a luxury diesel pusher with all these features list for? MSRP is $539,177. That’s almost a third of the Foretravel MSRP and yet this Berkshire clearly offers a ton of value. 2022 Thor Tuscany 40RT
This is one of the most underrated luxury diesel pushers in the entire RV industry. Not only is it beautiful, but it has features that you expect to see in models with a much higher pricetag. The blue and gray exterior full body paint give the Tuscany a distinctive look that stands out.

The Tuscany is 41’ 1” and rides on a Custom Freightliner XCR chassis with an Air-Ride Suspension. It is Thor’s top-of-the-line coach and one of the better-driving diesel pushers. It’s powered by a Cummins ISL 8.9L with 450 HP and 1240 lb-ft torque. And the hitch is rated to tow 10,000 lbs. The Tuscany does come in a single axle and tandem axle, depending on the model you choose. The one we reviewed had the tandem axle with the ZF Independent Front Suspension with a 60-degree wheel cut.
The raised rail chassis provides 215 cubic feet of exterior storage with aluminum slam latch doors. As with the other coaches in this class, the full body paint is visually stunning and covers the slide-out sides as well. An Insignia TV with a sound system is another amenity you expect at this price point.
Where the Tuscany shines is on the inside. The cab has an impressive Garmin digital dash and there’s a rare bunk over the cab that you don’t see very often on luxury diesel pushers. This allows this coach to comfortably sleep 6, making it yet another choice for luxury RVing with a family.
2022 Thor Tuscany 40RT
The cabinetry has a matte finish with a satin look that is distinctive and the interior is lit with tastefully done LED lighting. The look is complimented by polished porcelain tile flooring and decorative ceiling treatment with mood lighting. The modern design stands out, between the cabinetry, the valances, and the light sconce.
As with the Berkshire, the Tuscany has opposing seating in the living room area. The modern-looking recliner theater seats are across from a jackknife sofa with a retractable television. In fact, this unit has two televisions and a heat-producing fireplace.
The dinette comes standard with 4 unusually comfortable chairs (plus two folding chairs) or the optional Dream Dinette Booth with four seats with seat belts. This makes the Tuscany suitable for entertaining as well as having enough elbow room for family members.
In the kitchen, you’ll find solid surface countertops and sink covers. The farmhouse sink is huge and the tile backsplash looks sharp. There’s a nice pull-out pantry and plenty of storage space in the kitchen. Even so, the Tuscany comes with a Whirlpool residential refrigerator and a drawer-style dishwasher as well.
The Tuscany is a bath and a half and though the macerator toilet is porcelain, it didn’t pass the Prime Pooping Position because the large sink makes it a big snug for larger folks.
The master bedroom has a cute sliding door and is spacious with a classy ceiling fan. It offers a king-size Tiltaview inclining bed and an attractive headboard. Lots of storage above the bed and on the nightstands. The bathroom has a beautiful double-head shower with Showermiser built in – truly an A+ bathroom with lots of storage.
Overall, the Tuscany is one of the best luxury diesel pushers this year at a price point that is significantly less than the appearance and amenities would suggest. The MSRP for the 2022 Thor Tuscany 40RT we reviewed is $562,266.
