2022 Holiday Rambler Armada 44B
In this video, Matt and Andrea review a beautiful motorhome. This motorhome has a lot of amazing features, like a closet that can turn into a double bunk room. The design of this motorhome is beautiful and even something as small as the cabinet doors are well designed.
Exterior & chassis
This Motorhome sits on a custom Freightliner XCM chassis with a Titan Bridge. It has Mobileye collision mitigation, cameras in the side mirrors, and frameless windows. On the side, there is a door awning and a Girard power awning with wind sensors. The tires are Michelin 275-80r22.5. This Motorhome also has an external tv.
For storage, there are five total storage spots. Three of the five are pass-through storage areas and one of them has a Morrryde slide-out tray.
One really important feature is the V-ride, which means when you go under 25mph and need to take a sharp turn, the rear tire will turn the other way to give you a better turning radius.
On the back, we have a fiberglass rear cap, 15,000-pound hitch, backup camera, and a ladder. On the roof, you’ll see a fully walkable one-piece fiberglass roof, three air conditioning units, Maxxair fans with covers, solar, and a Winegard digital antenna and satellite dish.
Lastly, it has dual windows and an Aqua-Hot 400D hydraulic heating system—there’s no propane on the RV.
Interior
Drivers cab & Living area
In the cockpit, we have a camera on both sides of the steering wheel. There is lots of space for both the driver and passenger and both chairs are very comfortable. The passenger chair has a footrest and there is a tv in the front as well.
The bunk over the cab can handle 500lbs. The windows have both daytime and privacy shades. There are theater seats on one side and a pull-out couch on the other with a tv above. The U-shaped dinette has a smaller table but the couches are so comfortable. Also, the valances are Andrea approved!
The kitchen has a cabinet with adjustable shelves, LED lights, and panoramic windows. There is a farmhouse sink, convection microwave, a two burner cooktop, solid surface countertop, a dishwasher, slide-out pantry, pull-out cabinet, and a large refrigerator with water and an ice maker.
Bedroom & bathroom
The half bathroom has a PPP! In the bedroom, there is a king tilt-up bed, double wardrobe, washer and dryer, and lots of storage space. Next to the bedroom is a very spacious pull bathroom. In the bathrooms there’s a huge shower with a bench, a huge sink with solid surface countertops, LED lights, and… sadly it is not a PPP due to the small space.
The bunk room is on the other side of the full bathroom. It can be turned into storage as well. The bunk room is a double bunk.
Likes & dislikes
Dislikes
1. Andrea starts off with the first dislike, the U-shaped dinette. The table is very small for the number of people expected to be eating.
2. The second comes from Matt, which is the bed over the cab. He brings up a very good point, the safety of the bed. It comes down which blocks the exit and there are no emergency exits.
3. The third dislike comes from Andrea, which is the tilt-up bed.
Likes
1. Matt starts off the 3 likes with the closet that turns into a bunk room. This is very convenient for someone who temporarily needs it.
2. Andrea takes the second like with the kitchen set up, the entire design of the kitchen and all of the appliances are beautifully done.
3. Andrea also takes the final like, with is the seating spaces and Matt adds his own like which is the u-shaped dinette.
I really love this Motorhome. The space it gives and all of the features are amazing. I’m obsessed with the dishwasher and I love how much storage there is. Also, the chairs look so comfy and the driver’s seat having a foot rest won me over.
MSRP: $567,685
