4 RVs for Full-Time RVing
As RVing has become more and more popular, a growing number of people are choosing to downsize, sell their homes, and live full-time on the road.
Of course, everyone’s needs are different. And the good news is when it comes to full-time RVing, there are several awesome choices to consider.
In this post, we’re showcasing one Class A, one Class C, one 5th Wheel, and one big Travel Trailer, to give you an idea of what’s available.
Here are four popular RVs people choose for full-time RVing:
Entegra Vision XL 34G
The Entegra Vision XL 34G is a gas Class A motorhome. It’s a fantastic floorplan and the XL is a nice combination of features and value. This brand fits in between the entry-level Entegra Vision and the higher-end Entegra Emblem. The Vision XL 34G is powered by the Ford 7.3 Godzilla V-8 and the EZ Drive Elite computer balanced driveshaft so it drives fantastic, too.
Why did we pick this Class A for full full-time living consideration? The length is under 40-foot and yet this model has ample storage outside with fiberglass slam latch doors and the cargo carrying capacity is 3409 pounds.
On the inside, the coach is accessible all the way back to the bedroom with the slides in. The cab has two comfortable seats that swivel. The bunk over the cab holds an industry-leading 750 pounds. The living area includes a very comfortable sofa and reclining theater seats with a nearly direct view of the televator TV. There’s even an electric fireplace next to the dinette in this floorplan.
The kitchen offers spacious counters and attractive cabinetry and includes a full-size refrigerator and a good amount of pantry space. The bathroom gives you a good size 30 x 36 shower with a glass door and the toilet passes the “Four P’s” with flying colors. The bedroom is well lit and has a decent amount of storage as well.

Entegra Odyssey 30Z
Our favorite Class C motorhome is the Entegra Odyssey 30z. Here’s why we chose it for full-time RV living. It’s 32 feet, 6 inches, and has a seamless front cap and a big windshield up top with a power shade. The 30Z is available with a charming farmhouse interior and is built on the Ford E-450 Series chassis and is powered by the 7.3 liter Godzilla V-8.
The front of the Entegra 30Z is unmistakable. It has a window in the bunk over the cab with a power shade. It also has a seamless front cap which is not only more attractive but helps prevent leaks.
We love the interior as well. You can walk all the way to the back and even use the bed with the slideouts in. The bunk over the cab holds 750 pounds, which is the best in class. The dinette is comfortable and so are the theater seats, which are direct across from the entertainment center. You get a huge TV and a 40” electric fireplace as well. The bathroom has a big shower and the toilet easily passes with Four P’s test.

Vanleigh Beacon
When it comes to full-time RV living, 5th Wheels offer the most space, hands down. Many brands are excellent contenders. However, the Vanleigh Beacon is a top-of-the-line stand out with nine models between 32 and 42 feet to choose from. Be aware you’ll need to make sure you have a truck capable of towing the larger floorplans like the 42 RKB.
The exterior has beautiful full-body paint and looks amazing right down to the Vanleigh rims. The interior decor is equally amazing and has well-thought-out floorplans. The style is on point and there’s plenty of storage. The couches and theater seats are attractive and comfortable. Plus you can have a good-sized desk as well. So, it’s easy to imagine full-timing in a Vanleigh Beacon.
The kitchen offers a residential refrigerator, a big oven, a dishwasher, and a generous counter space. As you would expect, the bedroom is spacious with a large television and plenty of drawers. You also get a big shower and dual sinks.

Keystone Outback 341 RD
The Outback 341 RD is a top-of-the-line travel trailer from Keystone. It’s our choice for full-time living for many reasons. At 38 feet, the Outback offers plenty of living space storage inside and out, much like a 5th Wheel.
Depending on where you intend to camp, you can choose the Arctic Barrier Package and equip the unit with up to two air conditioners. This Outback is capable of four-season camping though be sure to stay within the manufacturer’s specified temperature range.
The interior is super nice with a large living room with a massive television over the fireplace. It has nice opposing sofas and Thomas Paine theater seats.
The kitchen has generous counter space, a ton of cabinet space, a big farmhouse sink, a spice rack, and a good size dinette as well. The bathroom has a large shower and the bedroom is spacious as well. It’s even prepped for a washer and dryer.
