2023 Thor Tiburon 24TT

Exterior & chassis

This is a Mercedes Class C motor home, however, it is referred to as more of a Class B+. There are frameless windows with a Thor warranty 12-year structural 6-year lamination.

The power awning is 15’, has LED lights, and a wind sensor. There is lots of outside storage (4 storage spots) at a total of 31.9 cu ft and power outlets on the outside as well.

This motorhome has a 5,000-pound hitch, one air conditioning unit, a furnace of 30 k BTU, a solar panel, and one piece TPO roof which I just learned means thermoplastic polyolefin.

It also has a Maxxair fan, a Winegard digital antenna, electric auto leveling, a backup camera, and an outdoor shoot. Lastly, there is an Onan 3600 LP generator and an instant hot tankless water heater.

Interior

Walkway with slides in

Now to the inside of this motorhome. The walkway is very tight but big enough to walk through. For the size of this vehicle, they created a lot of space with the kitchen and dining area.

Drivers cab

The driver and passenger seats seem very comfortable and they included some nice features like the push-to-start, cup holders, and a new dash.

There’s a bunk above the cab that holds 500lbs. Definitely only meant for one person as there is not much space. As Matt said it would be better used for storage. One benefit is the window above the bunk that brings in a lot of natural light.

Living area

The dinette is very pretty and spacious and it turns into a bed. The seats are very nice and swivel. The cabinetry is very nice and there’s a lot of hidden storage inside as well. Matt brings up how he likes the valances however I have to agree with Andrea, they’re more neutral.

In the kitchen, there is a convection microwave and a two-way refrigerator that runs off of propane. The pantry/wardrobe is a decent size and there are cabinets underneath to hold more clothes.

Bedroom

The bedroom is nice because they put in a lot of accessible natural light with a tv across and more storage above. The bed is a fold-up bed.

Bathroom

The bathroom is definitely a little small, especially with the issue of the door not being able to open all the way. However, they did well on keeping the shower a nice size. This is NOT a prime pooping position solely because the toilet was plastic.

Matt mentions that the actual position was pretty nice, however, they ruined it with the plastic toilet. Porcelain is the only way to go.

Likes & dislikes

Dislikes

1. Andrea begins saying she doesn’t like the bunk over the cab because of the wasted space, only a child could fit comfortably up there, and an adult would be very uncomfortable. I completely agree, looking at the space I myself would not be comfortable sleeping up there and I know I would bang my head so many times.

2. The second dislike is from Andrea again, which is the fold-up bed, she explains she understands why they did it but she doesn’t like it. Matt completely agrees with her however I’m not sure if I mind much. I’m not sure how comfortable the bed is as I wasn’t there to feel it, however, fold-up beds have never been an issue for me as long as there was enough cushion.

3. The final dislike is from Andrea again, which is the pantry. I 100% agree with her, the pantry and wardrobe are not good together. To have to reach to the back to get food, especially if you have clothes hanging doesn’t sound right.

4. Matt comes in with a fourth dislike, being the manual Mercedes seats, which again I have to agree with. Watching Matt turn them, it just looked very annoying and not smooth at all.

Likes

1. Matt says he likes the big, full wall slide, which I agree with. As Matt said, the motorhome is very small so to be able to create all of the space is really nice.

2. Number 2 comes from Andrea which is the colors and the euro style. Sadly I have to disagree just because it seems kind of bland, the only thing I liked was the table, but the rest of the colors were very bland.

3. Matt loves the dinette because of the size, storage below, cup holders, back padding, and wireless chargers. I completely agree, the dinette was very well made and it seems very comfortable, it is probably my favorite part of the RV.

Overall I really liked this motorhome every motorhome has its 3 dislikes but overall this motorhome really comes through with space the could create to comfortably dine and cook and with all of the storage space they created both inside and out.
