2022 Forest River Sandpiper 391FLRB
In this video, Matt and Wil review a beautiful 5th wheel. This 5th wheel has an amazing design with a dazzling front living room and a huge rear bathroom.
Exterior
This 5th wheel has a painted fiberglass front cap, front storage, 6-point hydraulic auto leveling, two A/C units, underbelly armor, and a seasonal protection package. The tires are ST255-85R16.
On the side, it has slide toppers, 2 storage spaces (one with a pull-out tray), an outdoor kitchen, Morryde steps with the hydraulic assist, and a grab handle. It’s also prepped for a camera to see who’s coming into the RV.
The outdoor kitchen has three cabinets above the sink, a huge countertop, a mini fridge, and a little storage area above the mini-fridge.
The rear has a huge storage area where Matt can actually fit inside. This storage space has doors on both sides of the RV as well. There is also a backup camera and a ladder.
Interior
Living area
The front living area is huge and has a lot of windows to bring in natural light. The tv slides out and has a bunch of storage around it and a fireplace underneath.
The couch pulls out into a bed and has a design on it too which is new. Across from the tv are two comfortable theater seats. Also, they added a clock which is really cool to see.
The kitchen has storage around the microwave, a four burner cooktop, oven, a decent counter with cabinets, a fan, refrigerator, pantry, coffee bar with storage above and below, and an island with a single bowl sink.
Off of the kitchen, the dinette has plenty of room and has a bunch of natural light coming in around it.
Bedroom & bathroom
The half bath has a cabinet both above and below the sink. The toilet was deemed not a PPP because your leg will hit the cabinet when you sit.
The hallway into the bedroom has a storage cabinet. In the bedroom there are two wardrobes and a king size bed.
The bathroom is washer and dryer prepped and has a bunch of storage space, a huge counter space, a PPP-approved toilet, two sinks, and a really nice shower.
There is only one problem with the shower, the height is only good for tall people if they stand in a specific spot.
Likes & dislikes
Likes
Wil takes the first like with the bathroom because it’s very spacious so you can move around and change easily and the counter space really helps.
Matt takes the second like with the outdoor kitchen because it’s not common in luxury fifth wheels, especially with a front living room.
Matt takes the final like as well, with the front living room because it has so much space, there’s a slide-out tv, and the small details they put into it really helped.
Dislikes
Matt gives the first dislike to the suspension because they are very low quality.
The second dislike comes from Matt as well which is the Rhino pin box because it’s too small for this travel trailer.
Matt takes the final dislike as well with the bed because it folds up for no reason since there’s no storage underneath.
Wil adds another dislike with the outside storage because the pull-out tray storage was too small and they could’ve made the shower taller.
My final thoughts
I love that this 5th wheel gives so much space. The bathroom and living area are so spacious and the slide-out tv is brilliant. I also really like the outdoor kitchen and the storage underneath because you can really fit some bulky items in there rather than trying to put them inside your RV.
MSRP: $119,937
