2022 Coachmen Leprechaun 260DS
In this video, Matt and Andrea review a motorhome with beautiful full-body paint and a unique dinette layout.
Exterior & chassis
This motorhome sits on an e450 chassis. It has a fiberglass front cap, auto leveling, optional full body paint, and Azdel to prevent it from delaminating.
On the sides are cameras, a power awning with LED lights, a tv and sound system, four storage spaces, a 30amp hookup, and an Onan 4000 generator. The tires are LT225-75R16.
On the rear, there is a 5,000-pound hitch that is towable, storage, and a backup camera. On the roof, you'll see two air conditioning units, a Winegard 360 digital antenna, and it’s prepped for solar.
Interior
Living room
With the slide in there is a good walkway all the way to the bedroom. In the cockpit, the seats are very comfortable and they do swivel. The bunk above the cab holds 800lbs, has a lot of natural light coming in, and a tv that swings out.
The living area has a tri cushion couch that jackknifes into a bed, frosted cabinets above the couch, Andrea-approved valances, and a j-lounge dinette with cabinets above and below and a pull-out seat.
In the kitchen, there are two pantries, a compressor refrigerator with a drawer below, a convection microwave, three burner propane cooktop, an oven, a round sink with cabinets underneath and above, solid surface countertops, pull-out drawers on the end, extra counter space, and another cabinet on the other side of the counter.
Bedroom
The hallway into the master bedroom has multiple wardrobes, drawers, a fold-up bed that is not usable with the slide in, cabinets above the bed, a tv, and small nightstands.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a decent sized shower with a slide door, storage above the toilet, extra counter space, a sink with storage below, and a PPP unworthy toilet.
Likes & dislikes
Likes
Andrea takes the first like with the j-lounge dinette because it has an optional extra seat giving you more space.
Matt combos the second and third likes with the e450 with the high cargo carrying capacity, the amazing full body paint, the size making it perfect for national parks, and the two air conditioning units.
Dislikes
Matt takes the first dislike with the outdoor shower equipment because of the way it’s painted and that it’s exposed.
Matt takes the second dislike with the toilet because you have to leave the door open.
Andrea takes the final dislike with the bed because it’s a fold-up bed.
My final thoughts
I am obsessed with the full-body paint on this motorhome and the outside just looks amazing. I also think the j-lounge with the pull-out seat was an amazing idea to add that extra space to the living area.
I was not a big fan of the bathroom, having little leg room on the toilet and the slide-out shower door, although pretty, takes away that extra bit of space for your arms. Overall I really like this motorhome and its layout.
